New Year Fitness Goals, New Mindset
With the New Year in front of us, there will be a ton of talk about New Year fitness goals. So many of my new clients come to me with the mindset that they need to shame where they are in their fitness journey. It’s almost as if they feel like they need to have that guilt in order to move forward.
It’s not about shaming.
I like to teach my clients that it isn’t about shaming where you are currently. In fact, it’s the complete opposite. You need to protect your mental health by learning to love your body so much that you want to take as best care possible of it. When you truly enjoy taking care of your body, the results are indisputable.
When my clients put their mental health first, the rest just seems to fall into place.
I don’t believe in fad diets – just hard work and self love. I’ve been doing research, and I’ve figured out that the harsher the diet, the more your body will fight back.
It’s about figuring out what works the best for your body and working around those terms. I help clients every day, both in person and online, move towards their weight loss goals and become stronger versions of themselves.
